Welcome to Siwa Oasis Adventures. Please take a moment to read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By booking a trip, safari, or accommodation with us, you agree to the following policies, which ensure a safe and memorable experience for everyone.

1. Booking & Payments

To secure your adventure in Siwa, the following payment terms apply:

  • Deposit: A confirmed booking requires a deposit (typically 100%) of the total trip cost.
  • Balance: The remaining balance must be paid in full before the tour begins or in cash upon arrival, subject to prior agreement.
  • Currency & Pricing: Prices are quoted in USD or EGP and are subject to change based on seasonality and availability.

2. Cancellation Policy

We offer flexible cancellation options to accommodate unforeseen changes in your travel plans:

  • 72+ Hours Notice: Full refund of the deposit (minus applicable transaction fees).
  • 48 Hours Notice: 50% of the deposit is non-refundable.
  • Less than 48 Hours / No-Show: The full deposit is non-refundable.
  • Force Majeure: If Siwa Oasis Adventures cancels a trip due to safety concerns (e.g., weather conditions), you will receive a full refund or a rescheduled date.

3. Safety & Liability

Your safety is our priority, especially during desert excursions:

  • Desert Safaris: 4x4 dune bashing is an adventurous activity. Clients participate at their own risk.
  • Health Advisories: Guests with back injuries, heart conditions, or pregnancy should inform us immediately. We can adjust the route or suggest alternative transport, but we advise against high-intensity dune bashing for these conditions.
  • Personal Property: We are not responsible for lost or damaged personal items (cameras, phones, sunglasses) during tours.

4. Eco-Tourism & Conduct

Siwa is a protected natural and cultural heritage site:

  • Please respect local Bedouin traditions and dress modestly when visiting villages.
  • We strictly adhere to a "Leave No Trace" policy in the desert and salt lakes. Littering is prohibited.
